Judith Llewellin

Born in 1944 in Warwickshire, I was the elder daugher of S. R. Hoolbrook MC of Abbotsfield, Kenilworth (a founder member of B.M. Corporation and also "Holbrooks" the furnishers of Hertford Street, & Coventry Industrial textiles "Bury Felt Co"). Our home was taken over by Warwickshire Regiment in the second world war and our business in Coventry was blitzed.

As a child, a keen member of N. Warwicks. Pony Club, the Hill & Crackley Riding Club, Earlsdon Tennis Club, I also showed our Border Terriers in local shows.

I married Derrick and moved to w. Wales in 1965, helping with the farming business and the training of our point-to-pointers as well as having various holiday enterprises and having done a huge charity restoration project together for the National Trust.

We have three children and now two grandchildren. Our son and daughter in law living and working in Sweden (for Renault), a  daughter and son in law in the legal profession in Woking, and our youger daughter working for Hurlingham Club in Putney, after serving in RLC in both Iraq and Afganistan.

I am a voluntary helper in a local school and also an active member of our P.C.C.

My hobbies are my garden (which I love), painting, and reading as well as also being an excellent "dog sitter" ( Unfortunately, I'm badly affected  by arthritis and can no longer ride or walk any distances.)
