We exhibit and breed Miniature Schnauzers' on a small scale and are located in South West Wales (Pembrokeshire). The family behind this "kennel" consist of Derrick and Judith Llewellin and Emma Wittenstrom, our Thoroughbred mare, Ring of Clover (Honey), two Warmblood youngsters known as 'Sir Winston' and 'Johnnie', ten dogs & two chickens.
Together we occupy a smallholding of 48 acres where our dogs are able to enjoy ample time to play on the properties surroundings for at least a a few hours every day in between the heavy rain fall (Wales badly needs a roof!!), having lots of cuddles and their tummies rubbed!
Derrick and Judith, who are both now retired, used to breed high class National Hunt foals which were all from a long line of top performers in the chasing world. It all started back in 1958, when Derrick's dad bought him a mare to point-to-point on (amateur steeple chasing), called Clover bud.
Clover bud turned out to be a fantastic horse who won for her new owners in a grand fashion. After having carried Derrick to multiple wins in the point-to-pointing world, she went on to bring him a victory under rules (professional steeple chasing), before then going on herself to win the Welsh Grand National!!
Having been great supporters and owner of Terrier's since their childhood, it wasn't until recent years that they actually had enough time on their hands (having retired) to feel that they wanted to do more with their dogs -hence the setup of our kennel which of course had to be named after that famous horse that have given them so many years of pleasure!
